City of Smiles would like to shine a light on the amazing work of The Collaboration for Compassion in Healthcare Education, or C4CEd for short, is a wonderful group of people representing a diversity of medical, health and care professionals, researchers and academics from across the UK and beyond. Their aim is to promote the study and teaching of compassion as a guiding principle within the education of those who aspire to provide the healthcare of the future.

On Wednesday 11th December 2024, they will be holding their 5th annual conference, with a programme of presentations from a variety of UK and international healthcare professionals, educators and importantly from those who have experience of healthcare services. The event is free to join online – and you can find further details here.
